They are in wonderful condition and sound great. They weigh in at 44 lbs apiece. Each are comprised of a 15 inch air- suspension woofer and a 1 inch horn tweeter. Made in USA. Anyone know any history about these speakers and if they are worth keeping? I would assume they are from the early 70's. Web22 feb. 2007 · I have a Magnavox console of about the same era awaiting restoration. Speaker config is the same with 2x12" fieldcoils w/whizzers in vertical alignment. Although one could argue the point, these are pretty much full range speakers or at least extended range.
